And here we are on the eve of the 2014 School Board elections and the School board is now going to the parents of Isabella Herrera $800,000 of your tax dollars to settle the case. Just in time to clear the way for another election. What timing! Spending tax dollars to settle lawsuits. And now Board member Stacy White wants to be your next County Commissioner; good luck with that!
The School Board just paid $600,000 of your tax dollars to the parents of Jenny Caballero. The Caballero’s said that all they wanted was real change but there wasn’t a word of that in the settlement. And sure enough, the transportation department staff has confirmed that little has changed.
