The Transportation Improvement Plan is buried at the end of the School Board agenda- it’s item 10.06. Perhaps they are hoping you won’t notice it. The school district is probably also hoping that you won’t notice the depositions of school board members April Griffin, Candy Olson, Superintendent Elia and a host of other school district employees at http://ollibean.com/2014/04/23/hcps-depositions-isabella-herrera/
They were probably hoping you would never hear about the death of student Isabella Herrera during campaign year 2012. Isabella choked on a Transportation school bus and it was covered up and the public was not told until after the primary elections were long over and this allowed 3 incumbent school board members to get re-elected. And now April Griffin expects you to re-elect her in campaign year 2014. What a travesty that would be.
And school board member Stacy White expects you to promote him to County Commissioner. They must think that you have a short memory. Don’t re-elect either of these two. THEY are the problem with the Transportation Department.
