WorldWide Photo Walk Includes GroupHug Clearwater!

The GroupHug Show Board is on the move! You can see it now at Body Right Chiropractic  649 Cleveland Street, across from the Post Office. Anyone who participates in the GroupHug Photo Walk on October 5th and posts their images here on FB will find their images on the board!

On Saturday Oct 5th there will be over 1,000 photo walks happening with close to 20,000 people registered for this day! The Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk is a national phenomenon and GroupHug Clearwater is partnering with the Florida Center for Creative Photography to get some Great Clearwater Images!!! So plan to attend and get some Great Picts of people Loving and Hugging in Clearwater!!!

Here's a message from our Leader:
"This year we’re going to do a little different sunset. Everybody shoots the sunset from the beach, we’re going to shoot it from downtown Clearwater, at the Clearwater Harbor Marina. The Clearwater Memorial Bridge will be lit up and in the foreground. The sun will set in the background, with the bridge and sailboats in the foreground. After the sunset we’ll continue shooting the marina and area around the bridge. Please bring a tripod to assist with the night shots. I’ll also be available to give some instruction on settings etc. We’ll walk about 1/4 mile up historic Cleveland St to The Capitol Beer House, Clearwater’s newest hotspot. The Capitol Beer House will have live music (band to be announced) and we’ll have a chance to do real concert style photography.

The Capitol Beer House is our end destination and we can get a cold beverage (32 craft beers on tap), soda or water. Next door is Tony’s Pizza and you can get a whole pizza or pizza by slice to carryout ( have salads, hoagies and more). We’ll spend the rest of our time sharing our best shots, practicing concert photography, eating great pizza and enjoying a cold beverage.

Many of you know me as the Director of the Florida Center for Creative Photography or the co-host of Picture This, Tampa Bay’s only live radio show devoted exclusively to photography. This will be the 12th photo walk I’ve lead and I’m looking forward to making this year’s photo walk the best ever. I hope you can join us for another of Scott’s World Wide Photo Walks."
