LifePath Hospice to Host 'Lights of Love' Ceremony Dec. 1

LifePath Hospice will hold its fifth annual Lights of Love tree-lighting ceremony on Thursday, December 1 at 6 p.m. at its Sun City Center Hospice House, 3723 Upper Creek Drive in Ruskin.

The ceremony is free, open to the public and participants need not have used LifePath Hospice services in the past.

For a $25 donation, people can purchase a symbolic light in honor or in memory of someone special. The lights will decorate a cedar tree and will shine throughout the holiday season as a symbol of the light loved ones have brought into the lives of their family and friends. The lights can memorialize a loved one, honor a compassionate caregiver or remember a treasured friend.

This year, LifePath Hospice is also offering a collectable pewter ornament for gifts totaling $100 or more. The limited-edition ornament will make a special holiday gift and will remind everyone of the special care LifePath Hospice brings to patients and families in Hillsborough County.

The Lights of Love ceremony is free, but reservations are requested. For more information or to RSVP, call 813-877-2200.
