Grow Brandon is asking everyone in the greater Brandon area to help us pick the next locally owned business that our community will Cash Mob!!! Simply go to http://www.facebook.com/GrowBrandon and you can vote for the business you would like to bless with a Cash Mob.
If you don't yet know what a Cash Mob is, you are not alone. Grow Brandon organized the first Official Brandon Area Cash Mob in May. Cash Mobs are an exciting new trend that has just started in this country. Usually what happens is someone who has a passion for helping the local economy and locally owned businesses in their community will use social media to organize a mob to meet in a shopping center parking lot on a specific date and time. Each person in the mob is instructed to bring $10 to $20 bucks with them. Normally, the Mob and the local business have no idea which business is being Cash Mobbed so this adds to the excitement! Once the Mobbers have arrived the organizer will reveal the name of the local business and the Cash Mob will then descend on the business and spend the entire $10-$20 bucks or more in the store!

It's so much fun for the Mob, it's obviously wonderful for the Local Business and the family that owns it and it's great for the local economy!!! A true win-win-win situation!
Of course, the bigger the mob is the better the Cash Mob is! So once you vote please make sure to be a part of the Mob.

I can tell you when right now, but the "where" is still not known! Not even by me. The Cash Mob will assemble on Saturday, July 28th at High Noon (12pm)! So please make sure to put that date on your calendar and tell all your friends to do the same.
