Rep. Ross Spano Endorses Vance for Judge

Kim Hernandez Vance, a candidate for Hillsborough Circuit Court, Group 19, has been formally endorsed by State Representative Ross Spano for the seat currently being held by retiring Chief Judge Manuel Menendez, Jr.
 
Kim Hernandez Vance is a Martindale-Hubbell "AV-Preeminent" rated commercial litigation attorney, a shareholder with GrayRobinson P.A. and also a former Certified Public Accountant. She is a 1997 cum laude graduate of the Stetson University College of Law and a 1985 graduate of the University of West Florida.
 
She is a member of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club of Tampa, the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, a former member of the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council and a member of the Leadership Tampa Class of 2009.
 
Kim Hernandez Vance is a fourth generation Tampa native and great granddaughter of Casimiro Hernandez, the founder of Ybor City historic landmark, the Columbia Restaurant.
 
Vance lives in Tampa with her husband, John, and sons, Chase and Brett.
 
In making his endorsement Spano said, "I am proud to endorse Kim Hernandez Vance for Judge. As a Mom and Wife, she is thoughtful and family-oriented. As an attorney, I recognize that Kim is a well-respected, talented member of the legal community and will make a terrific judge."
 
Ross Spano is a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 59th District, which includes central Hillsborough County, since 2012. Ross Spano was born in Tampa, and graduated from Brandon High School, and later attended the University of South Florida, where he graduated with a degree in history in 1994, and the Florida State University College of Law, receiving a law degree in 1998.
