Brandon Man Injured, Another Killed in Shooting at Tampa Strip Club

No arrests have been made. The Tampa Police are continuing the investigation.

A Brandon man was shot and another man was killed early Saturday morning outside a Tampa strip club, Tampa Police said.

A fight had broken out inside Hollywood Nites club, 3005 N. Howard Ave., about 2:10 a.m., and the strip club's security guards made everyone leave, police said. Once outside, shots were fired in the parking lot and the two men were struck.

Wayne T. Lanier, 21, of 929 E. Henderson Ave. in Tampa, later died at Tampa General Hospital.

Omar R. Bacon, 26, of 701 Providence Trace Circle in Brandon, was treated at St. Joseph's Hospital and released.

The investigation was continuing Saturday, police said.
