Apparent Suicide Reported Outside Brandon Regional Hospital
Deputies and detectives are on the scene of a death investigation outside the Brandon Regional Hospital. Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Debbie Carter said it appears that a person committed suicide outside the Women's Center.
Deputies and detectives are on the scene today, June 12, at the to investigate an apparent suicide in a parked vehicle on the property, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s spokesperson Debbie Carter.
“At this point it’s a death investigation, most likely a suicide,” Carter said in a telephone interview at around 3 p.m. “It didn’t happen inside the hospital, but by someone who drove up to the hospital."

The incident apparently took place near the entranceway to the Women’s Center, Carter added.
“Responding deputies and the detectives have gone to the scene because it is a deceased person,” she said.
