Armed Robber Leaves Steak 'n Shake Empty Handed (PHOTOS)

The suspect, wearing one white glove and one black glove, was caught on the store's surveillance camera.

Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who tried to rob a Brandon Steak 'n Shake with a shotgun.

The attempted robbery started at 4 a.m., Sept.  1 when a black male armed with a shotgun entered the at 1402 Brandon Blvd. West where he confronted employees and demanded money, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The employees did not comply with the suspect’s demands and he fled out the back door of the restaurant.

The suspect was described as 18-21 years of age, 5-feet, 5-inches  tall weighing 170 pounds with brown eyes and a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, black sweatshirt, one white glove, one black glove, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
