Brandon DUI Checkpoint Set To Make It Clear — Don't Drink & Drive

Deputies will be at an Operation 3D checkpoint in Brandon on July 25 to hammer home the message that drinking and driving don't mix. Ever.

Deputies will be on the lookout Thursday, July 25, in Brandon, making a concerted effort to reduce crashes and deter moving traffic violations, not the least of which is driving while impaired.

The checkpoint is part of the office's ongoing “Operation 3D” public awareness campaign, named for the admonition: “Don’t Drink & Drive.”

Part of Operation 3D includes regular checkpoints at advertised locations throughout the county, "in an effort to reduce the number of crashes and deter those who may violate vehicular traffic laws."
