Brandon CVS Robbed, Thieves Sought

Surveillance video catches two shoplifters inside the CVS at 715 West Brandon Blvd. on May 13. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office wants your help in finding the thieves, including the one who reportedly brandished a knife at the store manager

 

The search is on for a male thief, and his female accomplice, who fleeced a Brandon CVS out of $24.27 worth of merchandise and brandished a knife in response to a store manager's call to stop, according to a report from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The thieves, caught on surveillance video, reportedly struck May 13 at around 4:45 p.m., at 715 West Brandon Blvd., exiting the CVS with stolen items in the accomplice's gray-and-yellow backpack.

The store manager shouted out that they should return the items they took, which is when the male thief "brandished a knife, pointed it at the manager and told him to back off," according to the report. 

The thieves reportedly fled the property on a red motorcycle.

The male suspect is described as a white man in his early 20's, with average build, mustache and goatee and short- to medium, light-colored hair. He was seen wearing faded jeans and a blue/gray T-shirt with white lettering and sneakers. He is seen in the video carrying a white-and-black full-face motorcycle helmet.

Likewise, the female suspect is described as a white woman in her early 20's, with small build and long, straight dirty blonde hair. She was seen wearing jean shorts, a black tank top layered over a purple tank top and flip-flops. She is seen in the video carrying a black, full-face helmet, sporting a gray- and-yellow backpack.
