Brandon High Senior Charged With Bringing Knife to School

A senior faces charges after a security camera caught him with a knife, according to reports.

An 18-year-old Brandon High School student was arrested and accused of bringing a knife to campus, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Pedro Luis Vazquez, spotted on a security tape holding a knife behind his back while arguing with another student, an arrest affidavit shows accodring to Tampabay.com. Vazquez is senior at the school, the website reports. 

The school was locked down as a search for the knife took place and Vazquez later said he threw the knife into the street, according to Tampabay.com to throwing the knife onto the street.
