Brandon Man Tried To Hire Killer For $10K, Say Detectives

Larren Wade is charged him with solicitation to commit first-degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm and dealing in stolen property.

A Brandon man is in jail facing charges he tried to pay someone to kill an acquaintance, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Larren Wade, 35, was arrested at 5 a.m. this morning, Oct .3, and charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm and dealing in stolen property. 

According to a release from the Manatee sheriff’s office, detectives received information Sept. 29 that Wade wanted to pay someone to murder an acquaintance.

Detectives learned that Wade recently had a physical altercation with the potential victim which angered Wade and led to him attempting to pay someone $10,000 to carry out the killing. 

Wade was booked into the Manatee County Jail with no bond at this time.
