Brandon School Bus Driver Facing DUI Charge

Deborah Sturgeon, 49, was stopped and arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol at 10:54 p.m. at the corner of Brandon Boulevard and Providence Road.

A school bus driver from Brandon was arrested and charged with driving under the influence Friday night, Oct. 21.

Deborah Sturgeon, 49, was stopped and arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol at 10:54 p.m. at the corner of Brandon Boulevard and Providence Road, according to arrest records.

Sturgeon lives in Plantation Key in Brandon.

Her blood alcohol content was reported at 0.222.

She was released on bond.
