Deputies Seek 3 Men in Attempted Valrico Home Invasion

Home surveillance footage captured the three men, one of whom was dressed in all black and had zip ties in his back pocket, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies are looking for three men who they say were captured on surveillance video last month attempting a home invasion in the Greater Brandon community of Valrico.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the three men who knocked on the door of a home in the 1400 block of Windjammer Place just before 8 p.m. on Dec. 14.

The victim, who was at home with her 1-year-old daughter, did not recognize the suspect at the door, who said he needed to talk to her. He is described as a man with a large build, short hair and wearing a light color jacket and pants and eyeglasses.

Two other men were also seen standing behind a concrete pillar outside the home on the surveillance footage. One, a man with a medium build, was wearing all black and had what appeared to be zip ties in his back pocket. The other man, described as having a medium build and short hair, was wearing a white hoodie with the hood up, concealing his face.
