What does synthetic marijuana look like? How is it packaged and sold? Commonly known as "K2" and "Spice," designer drugs such as these often are sold in brightly colored, youth-oriented packaging — right in your local stores.

 

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has been cracking down on the sale of brightly and youth-oriented packages of illegal, synthetic marijuana, commonly known as "K2" and "Spice."

At the sheriff's office on Falkenburg Road on Dec. 7, boxes and bags of synthetic marijuana confiscated from county stores illustrated the severity of the problem, and the reason for "Operation All Smoked Up."
