Family Dollar Manager Attacked in Dover Parking Lot; 2 Assailants Sought

The June 12 armed robbery has the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office seeking the public's help in finding two men, who fled in the victim's stolen 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for two men who attacked a Dover shop manager and then fled in her pickup truck.

The victim, Nanci Menodza, the manager of the Family Dollar Store at 14618 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., reportedly was leaving the store June 12 at 8:40 a.m. when she was confronted by  two Hispanic males in the parking lot.

The first man grabbed her as she was getting into her vehicle, struck her in the head with a handgun and then threw her to the ground, according to the report.

The assailant then entered the driver’s side of the vehicle as the second suspect entered Mendoza’s truck  via the passenger’s side. The two men fled the area in the victim’s vehicle, described as a maroon, 2004 Ford F-150 SuperCrew pickup truck, with key scratches on both sides.

The suspects are both described as Hispanic male, age 30 to 40, 5-foot-6, with black hair and brown eyes.
