Head-On Collision in Brandon Sends 2 to Hospital

One person was extricated from a car after a head-on collision in Brandon on Monday, Jan. 21, according to a Hillsborough County Fire Rescue report. The accident reportedly occurred at Wheeler Road and Parsons Avenue.

 
Ten first responders were at the scene of a head-on collision in Brandon that sent two people to the hospital, one with trauma injuries, according to a Hillsborough County Fire Rescue report issued Jan. 21 at 9:43 p.m.

Four units responded and one person had to be extricated from the vehicle, according to the report. That person was transported to "the closest trauma hospital." A second person reportedly was taken to the hospital as well.

TBO.com reported that the crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler Road and Parsons Avenue and that one person was taken to Tampa General Hospital, the other person to Brandon Regional Hospital.
