Hillsborough Brush Fire Under Control Tonight (March 23)

Hillsborough Fire Rescue reports at 8 p.m. that firefighters are on the scene at the northeast corner of 78th Street and Progress Boulevard.

Hillsborough Fire Rescue reports tonight, March 23, that a brush fire is under control at the northeast corner of 78th Street and Progress Boulevard.

About 4 to 5 acres are involved in the Clair-Mel area just outside Greater Brandon.

The 8 p.m. report noted that the fire was fully contained “and should be extinguished in the next two to three hours."
