Jail Booking For Man Of Interest In Brandon Double-Slaying

Charles Andre Martinez, 24, wanted on warrants unrelated to the Carlisle Club deaths, turned himself in Oct. 11, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports.

Charles Andre Martinez, the 24-year-old wanted on outstanding warrants and believed to have information about what led to the deaths of two women in Brandon, was expected to be booked into the Orient Road Jail mid-afternoon today, Oct. 12.

According to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report, Martinez, accompanied by an attorney, turned himself in at the Hillsborough County Courthouse at about 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. At the time, he reportedly was to be evaluated a local hospital before being taken to the jail.

At the scene Thursday night, Oct. 10 Gee identified Martinez as "a person of interest," who reportedly lived part-time in the home and had been at the complex "in the last day or so."

He called Martinez a dangerous man, noting that he was a recent Florida State Prison releasee with warrants for Home Invasion Robbery and False Imprisonment, crimes unrelated to the Carlisle Club Townhomes slayings.

Meanwhile, the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office has positively identified one of the two female victims found dead Oct. 10 in the fire-damaged, soot-filled residence, at 1528 Highland Ridge Circle, in the Carlisle Club Townhomes complex in Brandon.

The victim has been identified as Lindsay Nicole Greene, 25, which matches the identification reported earlier by ABC Action News, based on reports from neighbors and friends.

Signs of "homicidal violence" were attributed to both Greene and the second woman, whose positive identification "could take several days," according to a sheriff's report issued today, Oct. 12.

The sheriff's office reports that detectives "remain in constant communication with the families of both victims as this investigation moves forward."
