Man Arrested in Robbery of Rodeo Store in Dover

An arrest has been made in the Dec. 28 robbery of the Rodeo store in Dover.

 

Armed with a handgun, a man wearing a hooded Hollister jacket reportedly demanded cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of money from the Rodeo store in Dover on Dec. 28, according to a report from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

That man has reportedly been arrested.

According to an update report from the sheriff's office, the suspect has been identified as Marco Antonio Cabrales, 22, who was arrested, without incident, Jan. 2 at 14756 Haines Road in Dover.

At the time of his apprehension, Cabrales faced a charge of robbery, according to the updated sheriff's report.

According to an earlier report, an armed robber entered Rodeo, described as a discount department store, at approximatley 7:25 p.m. on Dec. 28, then demanded money from a clerk.

"While the clerk retrieved the money, the suspect directed two other employees to lie on the floor," the report notes.

After getting the cash, the thief reportedly fled on foot from the store, at 14710 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
