Man Charged With Video Voyeurism at a Westfield Brandon Starbucks
Manager finds hidden camera in bathroom that led to the arrest of Eric Arthur Efaw of Riverview, who reportedly told Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office detectives he had done something similar six or seven times over a two-month period.
A Riverview man has been charged with voyeurism after deputies found a camera in the unisex bathroom at one of the two Starbucks coffeehouses in the Westfield Brandon shopping mall, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded May 31 to a complaint filed by the manager of the Starbucks, who reportedly said that at around 1:3o p.m. she had removed a device from under a sink in the restroom.
The Starbucks is in the south end of the mall, adjacent to Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Representatives from both mall security and the south-end Starbucks declined to comment.
Detectives reportedly reviewed the images from the camera device that positively identified a suspect, Eric Arthur Efaw, 44, of 7305 Forest Mere Drive in Riverview.

According to detectives, Efaw had the camera on when he walked to his car and opened his trunk, showing his license plate.
Efaw was arrested at his Riverview home June 8. Detectives said Efaw admitted placing the camera in the restroom and stated he had previously done so approximately six to seven times over the past two months. He stated he would place the camera in the restroom and then retrieve it later.
The investigation continues.
