Man Sought in Robbery at Hess Express in Dover (VIDEO)

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office seeks the public's help in finding the man caught on surveillance video robbing the Hess Express in Dover, at 12877 East U.S. Highway 92.

 

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in finding the the man who reportedly robbed the Hess Express in Dover, at 12877 East U.S. Highway 92.

Wanted is a 6-foot, 200-pound white male in his 30’s, with muscular build and medium complexion, who sports a bald or shaved head. Surveillance video shows the man wearing a light-colored polo shirt, khaki shorts and white tennis shoes.

The robbery reportedly took place Oct. 6, at about 7:39 p.m., when the man entered the Hess Express and asked the store clerk for change. After the clerk opened the cash register, the robber "reached into the register draw, placing the clerk in fear, and removed an undisclosed amount” of money.

The suspect fled on foot, according to the report.
