Motorcyclist Strikes Curb, Dies at Scene

Timothy David Green, who was not wearing a helmet, struck the curb and was ejected from the bike and tumbled 150 feet.

A motorcyclist ejected from his bike after striking a curb near the Winthrop community died at the scene July 21, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report on the early morning accident.

Timothy David Green, 53, of 7906 Rhein Way, Riverview, was riding a Harley Davidson Road Glide south on Providence Road at Bloomingdale Avenue at 12:34 a.m. when the accident occurred, according to the report.

Green struck the curb and was ejected from the bike and tumbled 150 feet.

The motorcycle traveled an additional 75 feet.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.
