Deputies Seek Vehicle In Deadly Hit-And-Run Motorcycle Crash

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle involved in the Progress Village crash.

A Tampa man was killed in the early hours of June 12 when his motorcycle was involved in a crash in Progress Village.

James L. Beaupierre, 46, was not wearing a helmet.

According to deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Beaupierre was riding his 1999 Kawasaki Ninja northbound on 78th when he was hit by a vehicle at 50th Avenue.

The driver fled the scene. No witnesses have been located.
