Search Continues for Brandon Steak ’n Shake Armed Robbers; New Photo Released

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office releases another surveillance photo captured during the April 2 armed robbery of the Brandon Steak 'n Shake.

To aid in the search for two armed robbers the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has released another photograph captured by a surveillance camera at a   during the early morning hours of April 2.

The public is asked to pay special attention to “the stitched-design on the right pants leg,” according to the announcement accompanying the photo’s April 7 release.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in identifying the two suspects who ordered the four employees at the restaurant, 1402 West Brandon Boulevard, into a storage room before taking money from the registers and the employees just before 7 a.m., according to the sheriff’s report.

The report further noted descriptions for the two suspects:

  • Suspect One — Male, 5-foot-7, 180 pounds, between the ages 18 and 21.  Thin build, brown eyes. Was wearing a black ski mask, black leather jacket, black gloves, dark pants and black shoes. He was armed with a handgun.
  • Suspect Two —Male, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, between the ages 22 and 29. Thin build, brown eyes. Was wearing a black ski mask, long-sleeve black shirt, black glove on left hand, black tennis shoes and black jean pants with a white design on the right thigh and right rear-pocket area. He was armed with a bolt-action rifle.

The sheriff’s office seeks the public's assistance in identifying the individuals caught on surveillance video and photographs. These images are posted at Brandon Patch and also online at the Hillsborough County Sheriff Office’s Website.
