Sheriff’s Detectives Seek Help in Nabbing Dover Armed Robbery Suspect

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports on a Sept. 25 robbery at the Prime Time Food Store at 3185 Dover Road.

Detectives seek the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Dover store at gunpoint Sept. 25.

The robbery reportedly started at around 9:40 p.m., when a man wearing a grey ski mask entered Prime Time Food Store, 3185 Dover Road. The man allegedly then confronted the cashier with a silver handgun and demanded cash.

A customer in the store at the time of the robbery was ordered into the restroom by the suspect, according to the report.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot, south on Dover Road.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 6-feet and 6-foot-2 with black hair, weighing 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing gray and red gloves, a gray ski mask and a dark, blue-hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information related to either of these thefts is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 813-247-8200.
