Suspect With Teardrop Tattoo Wanted in Circle K Robbery

The Circle K in Seffner was robbed at knife point shortly before dawn Monday, March 25. Investigators need help in solving the crime.

Detectives are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect with a distinctive tattoo who robbed the Circle K in Seffner at knifepoint before dawn on Monday.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department:

The suspect walked into the Circle K, at 707 Highway 92 West, on Monday, March 25, at 4:22 a.m. He pulled out a knife and demanded that the clerk hand him money. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He ran north on Parsons Avenue.

A surveillance camera caught a grainy image of the robber. He appears to be in his 20s, with a slight beard. There is a teardrop tattoo under his right eye.

He was wearing a dark windbreaker, black shirt and shorts, with black shoes. The suspect appears to be about 5'9" tall and 175 pounds. He has another tattoo on his neck.
