Teen Party Fight Leaves 2 Dead Outside Hall Near Progress Village

The party grew to include teens from throughout the Southeast County area, said Hillsborough County Seriff's spokesman Larry McKinnon. Fist flew, guns came out and a woman and man, ages 18 and 22, are dead.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office spokesman Larry McKinnon said he'll be on the scene later today at a union hall clubhouse between Progress Village and Clair Mel, where shots rang out just past midnight July 30 at a teen party, leaving two dead.

"It was a large party that ended with fists breaking out and as they were fighting somebody pulled out a gun and started shooting," McKinnon said in an interview about 12 hours later. "We don't know  a motive yet."

The party grew to involve teens from different high schools, he said.
