Biker Dies In Crash; Second Fatal Motorcycle Accident In 2 Days
Frank J. Pena was making a left turn onto St. Cloud Avenue when he collided with a car.
A Valrico motorcyclist died in a crash on State Road 60 on Tuesday night, Oct. 4, the second motorcycle fatality on Brandon area roads in two days.
The crash occurred at 6:50 p.m. when Frank J. Pena was riding his 1981 Yamaha Eleven west on State Road 60 in the left turn lane at St. Cloud Avenue, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Pena, 51, made a left turn under a green light into the path of a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis where he collided with the passenger side of the car.

Pena was thrown from his bike and died at the scene.
