Warrant Issued For Sexual Predator Who Moved From Seffner Address
John Randolph Boblitt, 44, was living in a trailer in Seffner but moved and has failed to register his new location as required by law. He is known to frequent hotels in the Brandon and Valrico area.
A warrant has been issued for a sexual predator who was living in the Greater Brandon community of Seffner.
John Randolph Boblitt, 44, was living in a small travel trailer behind a residence at 408 Chastain Road in Seffner.
The house recently was sold to new owners.
Boblitt moved from the trailer but has failed to register his new location, as required by law, authorities said.
Boblitt reportedly was seen walking in the area of Chastain Road in Seffner and is known to frequent various motels in Brandon and Valrico.
Boblitt was convicted in Hillsborough County, in 1996, of sexual battery on a minor younger than 12, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
"We are very strict on these cases," said Detective Larry McKinnon of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. "We need to know where these people are living and what they are doing, so he can't move into a neighborhood without the people there knowing who he is."
Anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of Boblitt and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS(8477). Report anonymously online at crimestopperstb.com or text "CSTB plus your tip" to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
