Who Robbed the BB&T Bank in Seffner?

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office seeks the public's help in identifying the unmasked bank robber who struck in Seffner.

 

A clean-shaven man with a pockmarked face and bad teeth, captured on surveillance video wearing a black baseball cap, robbed the BB&T Bank in Seffner, at 1707 Parsons Ave., according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report.

The man, sporting a black, short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans, struck Jan. 29 at about 3:15 p.m., according to the report. Carrying a navy blue JanSport backpack, the thief gave a teller a note demanding money.

"The clerk complied and provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency," the report notes. "The suspect fled the scene."

The thief is described as white, possibly Hispanic, age 24 to 29, 5-foot 7, 150 to 160 pounds, with medium build and short, dark hair.
