Woman Shot in Valrico Driveway, Drives to Hospital
The shooting happened on Copper Canyon Boulevard.
Early this morning, a woman was shot in her Valrico driveway and then managed to drive herself to Brandon Regional Hospital, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Carmen Dean was shot at least once while parked in her driveway on Copper Canyon Boulevard shortly after 1:30 a.m. Friday, June 14.
Deputies are interviewing friends, family and neighbors in an attempt to find the shooter. Deputies stress that they do not believe this was a random act of violence.

Dean has been transferred from Brandon Regional Hospital to Tampa General Hospital where she is in serious, but stable condition, according to deputies.
