Bad Weather Forecast Delays Brandon Skate Park Grand Opening Ceremonies

Due to forecasted thunderstorms and inclement weather over the weekend, the Brandon Skate Park grand opening will be rescheduled for a yet-to-be-determined date in May.

The grand opening ceremonies, including a ribbon-cutting with Hillsborough County officials in attendance, had scheduled for April 21 at noon.
The park will be open for skaters, as weather permits.

The 11,000 square-foot “obstacle street and bowl” skate park is located at 5720 Providence Road in Riverview.
