Feiler, a longtime political activist and one of the key organizers of the Tea Party movement in Tampa, has been to dozens of rallies over the years. However, she felt it was important to expose her children, who are homeschooled, to show them democracy at work.

"I've seen him on television but I just wanted to see him for myself,” he said, adding that he'd vote for Romney if he was old enough. “I’m for Romney. We need change and he’s going to bring it.”

“(President Barack) Obama has some good ideas,” conceded 17-year-old Tony Feiler. “But we need to get out of debt and I think Romney’s ideas will get us out faster.”

“He’s going to change America,” added 15-year-old Timmy Feiler. “Obama already had four years and didn’t do it. We need someone who will.”

The youngest of the Feilers, 10-year-old Jacey, has kept busy walking door to door, campaigning for Romney, making campaign signs and participating in sign-waving events on street corners.

“I want Romney to win,” she said. “He’s way better than Obama.”
