Counts in for Early Primary Election Voting in Hillsborough County

As of 6:21 p.m. Aug. 11, the final count for early voting for the 2012 Primary Election reached 20,197 ballots, according to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office.
The 2012 Primary Election is Tuesday, Aug. 14.

More than one-third of all early ballots cast were done so at one of three of the county's 15 early voting locations. Votes at the Jimmie B. Keel, Bloomingdale Regional and Jan Platt libraries numbered 7,737, which represented 38 percent of the overall total.
Almost one in five votes were cast in the Greater Brandon area alone, with 2,641 votes cast at the Bloomingdale Regional Library and 1,091 votes cast at the Elections Service Center on Falkenburg Road.
