What The New, Automated Trash Cans Look Like In Action
Coming soon, new garbage cans and recycling carts to your homes. A video look at how automated trash collection will work in Hillsborough County.
In the opening scene, a homeowner trips over his "wrangling, old-style garbage cans," an "awkward and frustrating" endeavor, according to the narrator who chimes in with some good news for Hillsborough County solid waste collection in the coming weeks.
"Hillsborough County is bringing a better way to a curb near you," states the narrator. "Just fill it, tilt it and that's how we roll."
Watch those new trash cans in action, part of the automated trash pickup that begins for Hillsborough County residents Sept. 30. Look for new garbage and recycling carts to begin arriving at homes Aug. 1.
