Hillsborough Republicans Gear Up for Fervent Election Season

Art Wood, chairman of the Hillsborough County Republican Party, headquartered in Brandon on Oakfield Drive, issues a call out to the party faithful to get involved in upcoming events and activities.

With or without a national convention in its backyard next week, the Hillsborough County Republican Party is gearing up for events and activities designed to make good on its promise to turn Florida red in time for the General Election in November.

“We had a great monthly meeting last night with an estimated crowd of over 300 supporters in spite of the rain and the first day of school,” said Art Wood, chairman of the local Republican Party, in an email sent Aug. 22. “Enthusiasm to win in Hillsborough County is at an all-time [high]. Don’t leave yourself out! Get engaged!”
