The coalition, with support from the Corporation for Supportive Housing held three public planning meetings in early June. In addition, residents were asked to complete an online survey to prioritize the community’s needs. A steering committee of representatives from throughout the community helped organize the process and evaluate the results.

Now the coalition is seeking every interested in helping prevent and end homelessness in the county to attend next week's meetings. Among those invited are policy makers, funders, business leaders, service and housing providers, health and mental health workers, neighborhood groups, faith-based and civic associations.
