The deadline to cast an early vote in the 2012 Primary Election is fast approaching. Here's what you need to know to get the job done, including a list of locations and a how-to video produced by the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office.
With the 2012 Primary Election just days away, the deadline to cast an early vote is fast approaching. Will your votes be counted among the 15,148 early votes cast so far in Hillsborough County?
As of 6:13 p.m. Aug. 9, another 1,777 early votes were added to the total count of 15,148 early ballots, according to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office. Early voting for the 2012 Primary Election ends Saturday, Aug. 11.

The 2012 Primary Election is Tuesday, Aug. 14.
More than one-third of all early ballots cast were done so at one of three of the county's 15 early voting locations. Registering the most votes were the Jimmie B. Keel, Bloomingdale Regional and Jan Platt libraries (see chart below).

Early Voting Procedures
Unlike on Election Day, when a voter must vote in his or her designated polling place, a voter may cast a ballot at any early voting site in their home county.
Remember to bring a valid photo and signature ID when you go to vote.
Examples of acceptable valid photo ID include:
- Florida Driver License
- Florida ID Card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
- Debit or Credit Card
- Military ID
- Student ID
- Retirement Center ID
- Neighborhood Association ID
- Public Assistance ID
