Mark Nash Campaign Launch Party at Winthrop Tonight (July 6)

Democrat Mark Nash, a Brandon High graduate, is running for the District 4 seat of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners. In the race also is Joy Green, no party affiliation, and Republican incumbent Al Higginbotham of Plant City.

 

Days after marching with a stronghold of candidates at the 2012 Greater Brandon Fourth of July Parade, Mark Nash will be at the Barn Theatre at Winthrop for a campign launch party in his bid for a seat on the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners.

Nash, a Democrat, is running for the District 4 seat. Also in the race is Joy Green, no party affiliation, and incumbent Republican Al Higginbotham, of Plant City.

Higginbotham was at the parade, mingling with participants and viewers, while Nash and his supporters marched in the parade.

As the Nash unit approached the reviewing stand, it was noted that "Mark grew up in Brandon and is a Brandon High School graduate, class of 1979."

Nash's campaign launch party is scheduled to run tonight, July 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Barn Theater at Winthrop off Bloomingdale Avenue, between Watson and Providence roads. The address is 11349 Bloomingdale Ave., Riverview.
