Will Garbage Be Collected in Brandon on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday?

Hillsborough County residents who put their trash out on the curb for Monday, Jan. 21 pickup don't have to change their plans for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

While most Hillsborough County government offices and schools are closed Monday, Jan. 21, for the 2013 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, Hillsborough County’s trash collection services will operate as normal.

That means anyone who normally has garbage pickup on Mondays, shouldn’t skip bringing their trash to the curb.
