Brandon High Alumni Gear Up For 100-Year Anniversary

The Brandon High School Alumni Association is busy preparing for the 100-year anniversary celebration.

The latest newsletter for the Brandon High School Alumni Association, led by president and 1972 alumnus Karen McDaniel Rodriguez, has been released, noting tonight's, Sept. 3, meeting at Beef 'O' Brady's on South Kings Avenue.

The group will be discussing the 100-year celebration of the founding of the Brandon School, which became Brandon High School.

"We are still looking for volunteers to help with the 100-year anniversary of the school," Rodriguez said, urging alumni to check regularly with Brandon High School Alumni Association website for more information. "Also sought, business sponsors for the 100-year celebration.

Tonight's meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m.

Also noted, the following "Fall Eagle Pride Events":

Sept. 6 — "White Out" football game
Sept. 21 — Eaglettes Camp
Sept. 28 — Brandon High School Alumni Cheerleader Breakfast
Nov. 1 — Senior night and official "Blackout Night" football game
