District Employment by the Numbers: Back-To-School Countdown (Day 22)
Ready to educate the next round of Hillsborough County Public School teachers are 14,645 certified teachers, according to a July 5 report.
The Brandon Patch Back-To-School Countdown proceeds with this Day 22 report, offering news of interset as the first day of classes approaches.
Teachers in the Hillsborough County School District go back to school Aug. 15 to prepare for the first day of classes, Aug. 23.

The Hillsborough County School District, by the numbers, shows 24,337 permanent employees at the ready to educate students and run the business of schooling for the upcoming school year.
As of July 5, the school district also employed another 4,849 substitute teachers and other temporary workers.
