Durant Girls Softball Upset by Palm Harbor's Lady Hurricanes
Palm Harbor University High's Lady Hurricanes beat the defending state champion Durant High Cougars 1-0 in Tuesday evening's regional semi-finals.
After beating Palm Harbor University last year in the same round of the playoffs, Durant knew they were in for a game against a team looking for payback.
The PHU Lady Hurricanes beat the Durant High Cougars 1-0 in Tuesday evening's regional semi-finals.
"We started talking about beating Durant in September of last year," said Lady Hurricanes Head Coach Kerry Katchuk shortly after the game.

"Durant knocked us out last year. They were the number one team in the state."
The lone run came in the 6th inning when Jessica Adams had an RBI single.

The Lady Hurricanes move on to play Orlando's Timber Creek or East River on Friday in the Class 8A region finals.
