KinderCare Learning Center, A day of Giving and Fun

Join us for a day of fun and giving!  We will be having a fun filled day as we raise money for two charities that are near and dear to our KinderCare family.  One of our long time parents, Jeremy Finney, is a member of the Tampa Fire Fighters squad.  Jeremy spearheads the Camp Hopetake (pronounced hope' e' tockee), a free camp created to be a safe haven for children ages 5 through 17, who have to cope with the social and emotional scars of living with burn injuries.  The Camp's counselors include firefighters as well as nurses, therapists, and paramedics who strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for these young survivors. Our families and friends will be washing cars to help raise funds for Jeremy's camp.

In addition, we will be having Alex's Lemonade Stand.  At the age of 4, Alexandra "Alex" Scott (1996-2004), voiced a simple wish--she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to help doctors find a cure for all children with cancer.  To date, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation has raised more than $40 million toward fulfilling Alex's dream of finding a cure, funding over 200 research projects, creating a travel fund to assist families who need to travel for treatment and providing resources for all chidren and their families as they fight childhood cancer.

Assisting in Campe Hopetake and Alex's causes provide excellent opportunities for our children to make a difference in their community and world.
