Legal Information Session: Residential Mortgage Foreclosures: Understanding Federal Programs that allow you to keep your home

 The Brandon Bar Association is sponsoring and presenting a free legal information session to Brandon area residents. The August session will feature mediator, Bob Maxey, discussing the legal issues pertaining to Residential Mortgage Foreclosures.  The Brandon Bar's Legal Information Series presents a wide range of topics from Estate Planning to Divorce to Bankruptcy.    

Bob Maxey will present information relating to Residential Mortgage Foreclosures and the federal programs that can help keep homeowners in their homes.

About Robert Maxey
Robert E. “Bob” Maxey, Jr. is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County, Circuit, and Family Mediator.  Bob is also qualified as a Primary Trainer for Circuit-Civil Mediator Training and an Assistant Trainer for County Mediation Training.  He has conducted more than 275 mediations, including approximately 200 residential mortgage foreclosure mediations since earning his certifications.  He was a primary trainer for Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation throughout the state in 2010.  Prior to becoming a mediator, Bob worked for IBM in a wide variety of roles combining his legal background and technical knowledge for a various Fortune 50 companies.  He earned his law degree from Regent University in addition to a BA in Political Science from the University of South Florida and an AA from Hillsborough Community College.
