Kindergarten Roundup Season Under Way in Hillsborough County Public Schools

News you need to know to make the transition from "preschool" to "the big school" for students starting their journeys in the Hillsborough County School District.

Kindergarten Roundup season is under way in the Hillsborough County School District, with events at 143 elementary schools aimed to ease the transition from preschool to “the big school” for both parent and child.

The school district online posts a “School Locator” to determine, by home address, your child’s assigned school. Students should register by June 30.

To attend a school other than an assigned school requires a Hillsborough Choice Application.  The application is due by March 11.  Notification of acceptance will be sent in May.
