Mango School Bus in Median on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Around 2:30 p.m., a Hillsborough County School District school bus was seen parked in the median at 11340 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., across the street from Broad Street. The bus was en route from Mango Elementary School.
Florida Highway Patrol officers were on the scene this afternoon at 11340 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., across the street from Broad Street, where a Hillsborough County School District school bus was parked in the median.
Linda Cobbe, a school district spokesperson, said she received word of the 2:30 p.m. incident and that the school bus, No. 2896, was carrying students from nearby Mango Elementary School.

There were no injuries, she said.
Cobb reported at 4:20 p.m. that a second school bus had arrived at the same to transport the children home.
