Friday night football in Eastern Hillsborough County included the Oct. 12 contests between Armwood and Strawberry Crest and between Durant and Chamberlain. Both Greater Brandon area teams won:

It was homecoming for the Durant Cougars and senior night for the Strawberry Crest Chargers, where the bands faced-off after fourth-quarter play.
